Students warned against cultism, sex abuse, exam cheating

Students of both private and public schools across Delta State have been warned against the evil consequences of sexual abuse, examination malpractice and cultism in and outside schools.


Pastor Sylvester Isimah, President General of Ika Christian Youth Network (ICY), said this during a seminar titled, ‘Negative Effects of Sexual Abuse, the Grave Consequences of Examination Malpractices, the Economic, Social and Spiritual Consequences of Cultism’, held for secondary school students’ in Ika nation.
He defined sexual abuse to mean the lack of consent of the other person concern.

He said the purpose of the seminar was to educate the students on the negative effects of cultism, examination malpractices and sexual abuse, even as he said the lesson from the seminar will enable them to guide against the social vices emanating from the indulgence in social vices.
