Discharged Ebola Victim Back In Lagos Hospital

An Ebola patient, a doctor, who was initially cleared of the disease and released to go home has been taken back to the isolation center in Lagos after showing fresh symptoms of the virus.

The doctor who is a health worker, at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) clinic in Lagos, is said to have developed symptoms of the disease.

She was one of the patients who was initially discharged from the hospital but readmitted when she started showing signs of infection.

Ebola is highly contagious in the later stages and poses a greater risk to family members of the infected and medical staff.
