Female Delegate Slumps During National Conference

On Wednesday at the ongoing National conference taking place in Abuja,  a female delegate identified as Ezenwa Ifeanyinwa slumped, shortly after the resumption of the afternoon session.

Mrs. Ifeanyinwa, a representative of the Market Women Association, was said to be on her way back from lunch break and was heading towards the plenary chamber when she suddenly fainted.

Immediately, security agents, including operatives from the State Security Service, SSS, and the National Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC assisted her and took her into one of the ante rooms outside the Conference plenary chamber.

A medical doctor was later brought to attend to her but before his arrival, another female delegate had laid hands on her and prayed for her recovery.

The delegate was very vibrant during the early hours of the day and was involved in the debate on President Goodluck Jonathan’s address to the Conference.

Just like so many other delegates, the secretariat of the Conference was not aware of her.
Recall that one of the delegates, a retired police Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Hamma Misau died about 2 weeks back.
